Stylish New Options Available in Merillat’s Semi-Custom Line

ADRIAN (Mich.) – Merillat is expanding Merillat Masterpiece®, their premier line of built-to-order semi-custom cabinetry. Scheduled for Feb. 23, 2009, the expansion includes the new door styles Merillat Masterpiece Alina and Merillat Masterpiece Mesa. These additions were displayed at Merillat’s booth during the 2009 International Builders’ Show, exemplifying Merillat’s continuing effort to provide the trend-setting styles and options consumers want.

These new door styles will give designers, builders and consumers even more design flexibility to create distinctive kitchens and baths:

Merillat Masterpiece Alina

Merillat Masterpiece Alina has a distinctive formal flair that captures the essence of elegance yet works well in a variety of décor settings. “The inspiration for Alina was the look of carefully hand crafted artisan detail with an air of sophistication,” explained Paul Radoy, manager of design services for Merillat.

The full overlay door has a delicate pearl bead outlining its raised center panel giving it a gentle highlight. It is available in Cherry and Maple in standard finishes and glazes, as well as burnished and vintage glazes.

Merillat Masterpiece Mesa

This new door style borrows a carpentry technique from a bygone era to create an Old World flair. “With its unique quarter sawn craftsmanship, Mesa is perfect in Mission and Arts and Crafts styling, but equally appealing in transitional décors,” continued Radoy.

The rich wood grain appearance is more pronounced with standard finishes and glazes. Merillat Masterpiece Mesa has a full overlay design with mortise and tenon construction and a recessed center panel. It is available in Oak in standard finishes and glazes. A one-piece slab drawer front is standard; however, a five-piece drawer front is optional.
