Conversion Kit - Standard Kitchen Base Cabinet

Product Description

The conversion kit includes a new set of outside guides, adaptors, and a sheet of instructions regarding the removal of the old guides and the installation of the new units. They will replace the left and right plastic adaptors. The kit includes hardware for one drawer or sliding shelf. For 24" deep cabinets only. Available in white.

Note: Merillat discontinued the drawer slide brackets. The replacement guides in the conversion kit can be used as a substitute to these older slide brackets.

I have replaced many back drawer slide holder over the years but this one is a new design. I hope it proves more durable. I like my cabinets.

Direct replacement for the originals. Though slightly longer then the originals, they lined up perfect with the attachment points at both ends.

I ordered this kit because I needed the brackets. I was out of town for the holidays and the package came while I was gone. When I finally got around to opening the package, the brackets were missing. I tried calling the number on the invoice several times and was not able to connect with anyone. I would like to get this resolved. Someone please contact me. The order was shipped on December 13, 2019.
Almost equal replacement

The Merillat conversion kit is an almost equal replacement for the original drawer guides used in my kitchen cabinets. This makes them an excellent option. They were nearly exactly like the originals with the exception of color (white) and plastic as opposed to metal wheels. These changes do not hinder their operation. They installed very easily. I consider the price to be reasonable for two guides.

It was easy to install and seems like it will last longer than the original bracket.
Cons:- took over 2 weeks to receive.
- did not come with installation instructions as stated

Rails are heavy duty, they fit perfect and installation was easy.

The right side plastic adjustable rear bracket had broken, and after searching the web for several days I found that the only option to fix was to buy Merillat's all in one rear brackets integrated with drawer slide guide. Too bad Merillat no longer sells just the rear bracket, as there was nothing wrong with my existing slide guide. Also had to buy the set of 2. Total cost plus shipping was over $20; when I had the same issue several years ago on another kitchen drawer, just the plastic rear brackets were still available and the cost was about $5. Bottom line I guess a $20 cost will not break my budget, but it's a little disturbing that here is only one part out there that will fix this drawer. Order processing and delivery were surprisingly slow, almost 2 weeks went by from original order date until delivery. However installation was very easy.

I am disappointed that your replacement drawers rails still have plastic brackets. My silverware drawer is heavy and the plastic brackets are what have broken on my current drawer. These plastic replacements will just break again after a few years. These brackets should be made of metal so that they do not need replacing--I would gladly pay a premium for a more durable bracket.

I could not get replacement drivers for a 5-year-old, perfectly functional Hewlett-Packard high-end multifunction printer. "Buy new one" was the recommendation from HP tech support. Not so with my 35 year-old kitchen cabinet. Plugged right into the existing mounts and attachments. Nice to see a company that stands behind its products and doesn't create planned obsolescence.
