Q: I’d like to order or replace a discontinued door style. What should I do?

A: Unfortunately, once a door style and finish color has been discontinued, Merillat no longer manufactures that cabinetry or its components. Our recommendation is that you visit a dealer in your area for additional assistance and advice. To find a dealer near you, use our Find a Dealer tool.

Q: How do I replace a broken or damaged hinge on my cabinet?

A: If you have a hinge or drawer glide (with the exception of Amerock hinges) and are the original home owner, please mail the item to the address below for replacements. Parts are replaced one-for-one and submitted parts will not be returned. Please note that we extend the limited lifetime warranty provided by the hinge and drawer glide supplier and the vendor has the right to make changes to their product that, in some cases, may require some homeowner modification to their cabinet.

If you are not the original homeowner, you can purchase hinges by going to our "Contact" link on this website or e-mailing merillatconsumer@mascocabinetry.com and requesting a parts order form. Please note that hinges are $10.00 per pair, which includes tax (where applicable), shipping and handling and one sample is required.

If you have Amerock hinges (marked with a capital A with a circle around it), these are no longer covered under warranty, but can be purchased. You can purchase hinges by selecting our "Contact" link on this website or e-mailing merillatconsumer@mascocabinetry.com and requesting a parts order form. Note that we only offer the one color of Amerock hinges that was originally used.

Q: Can I buy cabinets online?

A: Merillat cabinetry is sold through a nationwide network of dedicated cabinetry professionals and builders. These professionals have the skills and tools to design, order and install cabinetry with the utmost of accuracy.

There are many factors critical to the success of a functional and aesthetically pleasing design and good installation. Many of our cabinetry professionals use the latest technology to create designs with electronic software programs. Reducing errors through proper measurements, appliance and detailed mechanical specifications as well as construction specifics is necessary, and relying on a professional is recommended.

Merillat does not sell cabinetry online. In some instances the cost to ship a cabinet may exceed the cost of the item purchased. Because of the intricacies of cabinetry varieties, sizes and shapes, it is best to seek the advice of professional cabinetry retailers. By doing so, you will be certain to get the right solution for your home.

A: Although we do not send out printed literature, you can download any of our brochures by going to the literature section.

Q: How much do your cabinets cost?

A: Please contact your local Merillat dealer for pricing information. None of our products (except those sold in our Shop section) are available direct. Please click here to locate a cabinet dealer. He or she will provide a price quote for the cabinetry of your choice. If you save your product preferences in an online workbook, you will be able to print a convenient list of products you are interested in. This will allow your dealer to help you in the most efficient manner.

Q: There are some minor scratches and nicks on my cabinets. How can I repair these?

A: For minor stain and finish touch-ups on your cabinets, we recommend our touch-up kits. You may purchase these in our Shop section. For repairing larger surface areas, please contact your local Merillat dealer. He or she can assist you with the purchase of larger quantities of stain/sealer.
