In Living Color: Explore the Design Palette
Welcome to Tabulum. A name given by Australians that means "my home." The couple living here named their home as a way to remember their fond vacation in the land of down under. After many years of working and living in the city they elected to search for paradise in the countryside. One day, while driving to a nearby small town to attend a local festival, they stumbled upon a farm home that was a bit run down but still in working condition. Immediately they called the real estate agent listed on the for sale sign. A week later the original owner approved their offer.
The pair saw a gem in the rough and began creating their dream retreat. Having a flair for style, they both had very similar tastes so the task of a major renovation went smoothly. They easily agreed on the same colors, materials and amenities. With a love of contemporary décor, they modernized the old farm house while still keeping the original character of its exterior intact. Finally they had a space to rest and relax on weekends, as well as to cook gourmet meals and serve food and wine to friends that stop by. Every weekend they take horseback rides through the countryside and occasionally have a picnic near the small lake on their property. The love of their home is so endearing and comforting, they just may retire here. So please stay awhile and explore all this beautiful home has to offer.
