   I contacted Merillat to purchase a replacement hinge for an old kitchen cabinet. I gave Merillat the part numbers (there were two) and they told me to purchase the item called Bifold hinges on their website. I did and the hinges are not even close to what is needed. They are a different length, the section that is supposed to fit into the circular hole grooved into the door is the wrong shape, etc. The new hinges seems like good quality, but I have no use for them so they were a wasted purchase. This is the number on my existing hinge 698.243.59.00. It appears to be discontinued. Wish I had been told that before and an alternative suggestion presented to me.
