1. Stain color doesn't match

   I ordered this to touch up some of my old cabinets but it doesn't seem to match. I understand that over time the colors of cabinets fade but this stain is much lighter than the current stain and this would not seem to be attributable to fading cabinets. Perhaps I need to apply multiple coats but I have not tried that yet.
