Deluxe Base Deep Tray Kit

Product Description

Add a second tray for better storage and even more functionality in your kitchen. In your base cabinets, you can install one tray at the bottom of the cabinet and one in the center - these will keep you from getting on your knees looking for something in the back of the cabinet. Base Tray kits are for 24" deep base cabinets ONLY. Measurements listed are the width of the tray. To measure, open the cabinet door and measure the width of the cabinet opening to ensure proper fit. Note: The image above shows two deep tray kits. Sold as individual units. Reference the chart below to see which tray kit will work in your cabinet.

five sliding trays

Installation easy, out of 5 trays, 1 was very poor fabrication, they also took quite a lengthy time to ship

Bought two trays to install in existing Merillat cabinets.
They were delivered promptly and were so easy to install I was shocked.
Two screws on each one and they were in!
Predrilled holes at the back of the cabinets made it easy.
(If you don't have those holes it will take slightly longer)

After getting a quote of almost $6000 from Shelf Genie last spring, I finally searched for roll out shelves from my cabinet's manufacturer, Merillat. I carefully followed the measurement instructions on the web site and ordered 2 of the 14" roll outs. My husband is not a master carpenter, but is handy at most basic home repairs. He was very pleasantly surprised that he did not need his array of tools, other than a screwdriver, to do the installation in less than 10 minutes (for cabinets with pre-drilled holes). I was so thrilled I ordered 4 more roll outs...and their installation was almost as easy, although the existing shelf inside the cupboard had to be removed first. But that's ok as it is not important to the integrity of the new shelf support. More detailed installation instructions /diagrams on the web site might improve sales, as most do-it-yourselfers need that reassurance of simplicity of install, prior to purchase. The shelf weight limit is not specified and is probably not as high as Shelf Genie's 100 lbs, but is more than adequate for the average homeowner. Thank you Merillat! I've recommended this to every neighbor I chat with on my street. Nice to know I won't have to crawl around on the hands and knees anymore trying to reach kitchen bakeware supplies! Hooray! Now I'll be shopping for roll outs that fit around the plumbing underneath my bathroom and kitchen sinks.
Pull out shelves

I really like the drawers but the mounting brackets are too short. Fortunately I had ordered replacements for another slider. The ones that came with the kit needed to be one inch wide and were not quite one inch.

Our cabinets in our new home came with 2 sets of these but we wanted to outfit all the lower cabinets with these roll out shelves. These were a perfect fit and since the cabinets all came with predrilled holes, installation was very easy. Love them!

Deep trays solve problems

The deep trays installed easily and solve storage problems. No one wants to get down on knees to reach things in lower cabinets. The next best solution short of all deep drawers.
