Conversion Kit - Standard Kitchen Base Cabinet

Product Description

The conversion kit includes a new set of outside guides, adaptors, and a sheet of instructions regarding the removal of the old guides and the installation of the new units. They will replace the left and right plastic adaptors. The kit includes hardware for one drawer or sliding shelf. For 24" deep cabinets only. Available in white.

Note: Merillat discontinued the drawer slide brackets. The replacement guides in the conversion kit can be used as a substitute to these older slide brackets.

Fantastic, I thought I was up a creek when my 30 year old kitchen cabinet rail developed a crack in the plastic support bracket. I found a replacement part in 5 minutes on the web site and it arrived in a few days and worked perfectly. It was improved to be one molded piece and fit perfectly. All is good, Cabinet is saved.

I was very pleased with the conversion kit. I had two drawers that the supports had broken. I was able to remove both the old ones and install the new ones in about 15 mins. Very easy job.

Before trying to adapt our cabinets to another slide I ordered a single set of these to see if they would fix a broken drawer, and was completely satisfied with the result - the installation was easy, and the results at least as good as when the cabinets were new. The price of this kit is less than I was going to have to pay for aftermarket slides which would certainly not have required a lot more work and might not have worked as well as these. Now I'm ordering kits for all our remaining cabinets, though most haven't broken yet, because I don't want to have to deal with this again in the future.

The replacement rails were very easy to install on our drawers that had broken on our still good looking 29 year old cabinets!

These replacement drawer rails are about 1/8" longer than the original so they slightly hang past my cabinet face frame. I also noticed that they put cheaper plastic wheels on the new rails. The old ones had a nice rubber band in the middle of each wheel to cushion and I assume to keep it quieter when rolling. Additionally, they put absolutely NO packing material in a big box with 2 pairs of rails when shipping so all the banging around broke one of the plastic tabs that hold it in place. Cudos to customer service for sending a quick replacement but should not have happened in the first place.
