Conversion Kit - Standard Kitchen Base Cabinet

Product Description

The conversion kit includes a new set of outside guides, adaptors, and a sheet of instructions regarding the removal of the old guides and the installation of the new units. They will replace the left and right plastic adaptors. The kit includes hardware for one drawer or sliding shelf. For 24" deep cabinets only. Available in white.

Note: Merillat discontinued the drawer slide brackets. The replacement guides in the conversion kit can be used as a substitute to these older slide brackets.

Worked, and is slightly different than 1990 vintage

Glad to be able to repair broken attachment, would have preferred just the plastic portion, but we understand you can't service every little part.

Part is a different color than our 1990 vintage, again understandable.

Replaced my 1987 Merillat cabinet drawer glides with the Conversion Kit - Standard Kitchen Base Cabinet. Worked perfectly! Now if I could just afford to replace them all.

Although this arrived without the promised instructions, after contacting customer service I received them via e-mail. Easy to install and very good service from the rep. We installed these cabinets in our kitchen in 1993 and this is the first issue after all those years of hard use.

The brackets fit perfectly and are a stronger design than the original.
But, they took 3-weeks for delivery, which is really bad.
The told me it takes 96 hours (4-working days) for the product to ship.
Miscommunication results in useless purchase

We purchased a previously owned home full of Merillat cabinets. Aside from several cabinet doors not fully closing, the supports on the rails holding a sliding shelf in an island cabinet shattered into pieces. I sent pictures of an intact rail and support to Customer Service with a clear view of the plastic support and was assured the replacement rails would work. They didn't because I was not informed these only work in cabinets with supports on the back of the cabinet which is impossible in an island version with no back wall.These plastic supports were completely different from the picture I sent. I was offered my money back, less the shipping costs, but I feel there should have been better communication.Two stars for allowing me to get a refund after several weeks of wasted time.

My cabinet glide support broke and no longer able to purchase just the plastic support but have to purchase the glides and plastic supports (wish I had a better term for the part). The new glides and supports work fine.

When the drawer in our island broke recently, I scrambled around town trying to find the right part. After spending quite a bit of time researching how to fix the drawer, I came upon your website and the part that was needed. My cabinets were installed in 1991, so they apparently were obsolete as originally designed. The part I received worked like a charm! Not only did it fix the drawer perfectly, but it was incredibly simple--snap it in and put in the screw. Presto!

The other drawer in the same island is near breaking as well. I will be ordering another kit. I highly recommend this product to anyone who has the old outdated cabinets.
Came without the instructions but still easy to figure out.

Ordered a set of rails to replace the drawer rail attached to the cabinet box (the back plastic clip that held the rail up had broken). The rails were supposed to come with instructions to take the old rail off and place new one. They didn't. But, It was quite easy to figure it out once we had the new rail. We got it in and it works perfect! Our cabinets were installed in 1992.
