The conversion kit includes a new set of outside guides, adaptors, and a sheet of instructions regarding the removal of the old guides and the installation of the new units. They will replace the left and right plastic adaptors. The kit includes hardware for one drawer or sliding shelf. For 24" deep cabinets only. Available in white.
Note: Merillat discontinued the drawer slide brackets. The replacement guides in the conversion kit can be used as a substitute to these older slide brackets.

Ordered the conversion kit to replace the broken drawer glide in my cabinet. No instructions in the box but installation was easy to figure out. No need to replace the slide on the drawer, as just the piece that attaches to the inside of the cabinet was broken. Much more economical to order from Merillat, as the local retailer sells the kit for $25.

I ordered the product for $15 and assumed it would be all the pieces necessary to repair my sliders. The package arrived with no packing materials which caused the product to be scratched and the bracket had come off of the metal slide. The product is only 1/2 of the product and a slide is needed to be purchased to attach to the drawer sold individually for $15. The total price to repair the slides is $45. I went to home depot and purchased the slides for the drawer for $7 and it worked perfectly saving $23.

Good comeback from a design flaw. Easy to install, arrived promptly. Excellent cabinetry, have had them over 25 years. Orderd an extra set because I’m sure another plastic bracket attachment will fail soon. Also, my drawers were not overstuffed or heavy and the prior bracket broke anyway. Big improvement.

Big improvement over old design. I have 8 sets of kitchen and 16 sets of bathroom cabinets which have been in service from 1985. The back ends of the draw guides would break off. This will not happen with the new design.

unfortunately I ordered the wrong brackets. Is there any chance they can be returned? Thanx for your reply. Steve

fit perfect and could see where the proper design change had been made.

First things first. Came with no instructions and had to figure out how to remove the old ones. FYI. The bottom tab on the old ones has Barb on it so it pulls/ pushes straight out. Comes out hard, but that's how it comes out. Might be best to use some kind of a forked tool like for removing car Interiors. Once the bottom one is out tip up the plastic piece so that the ear on the top one can come out.
For the new ones. Easy install. Rollers are better than the originals. Thought they were a bit high-priced, and don't like that you have to buy them in separate pieces, but if they last another 25 years I guess they are worth it. The lady at merillat knew exactly what I needed. She was good. Overall very happy with the product. Just seems like 60 bucks to repair one drawer is a little high.

The replacement part that is offered seems to work well. Its just a shame it's taken almost 30 years for the company to make and sell this repair product. I'm sure there going to sell thousands of these.
After doctoring my broken ones up for years. I've used Gorilla glue, super glue, zip-ties, tape, wire, anything I could. Because going to local home improvement stores that sell Merillat Cabinets couldn't offer any help in offering replacement drawer guides. Some had old stock but after buying that, they broke at the same rate as my original ones. Its been a problem in my kitchen for over 15 years. Merillat offers a beautiful line of kitchen cabinets. Just a terrible rail system for there drawers and roll-out trays inside there cabinets. Its a well known problem in Any of the
blogs and reviews and has been a problem for years. Why didn't they offer these as a fix years ago? Well, it seems now they have a fix. Just too bad I'm going to have to spend over three to four hundred dollars to replace all of mine (14) sets at roughly $26 dollars a set. You do the math. All I can say, the new parts are working for now.

We wanted to move the slide out drawer from one cabinet to another. Unfortunately, you can't pull out the plastic pieces that anchor them to the back of the cabinet without being them. So we need to get new plastic pieces. We could not find just plastic pieces so we ordered the whole kit. Everything works just as it should.
