Conversion Kit - Standard Kitchen Base Cabinet

Product Description

The conversion kit includes a new set of outside guides, adaptors, and a sheet of instructions regarding the removal of the old guides and the installation of the new units. They will replace the left and right plastic adaptors. The kit includes hardware for one drawer or sliding shelf. For 24" deep cabinets only. Available in white.

Note: Merillat discontinued the drawer slide brackets. The replacement guides in the conversion kit can be used as a substitute to these older slide brackets.

Merillat drawer conversion kit works!

New drawer tracks and sockets work well. Original rear drawer plastic track sockets broke frequently. Conversion kit works well and so far are being durable.

We have drawers from 1988 and the one bracket just broke. Tried several from big box stores and they did not work with our drawer. This conversion kit worked perfect. Did not have to change rails on drawer just the new rails that connect to cupboard bases and the bracket on the back wall.
Took longer to ship than to install.

why cant we continue the use with the R/L plastic adapter, the slides are still serviceable......

I ordered this kit because I needed the brackets plus the gliders that attach to the wooden drawer. When I opened the package, the brackets to attach to the drawer was missing. I did call Merillat and they said they would send the gliders within two weeks. Until then, our drawer is useless.
I haven't installed the conversion kit as yet, hence my average review.

My drawer cabinet is circa 1987. Original drawer rail support 22&1/2 inch connected to glued plastic connector at the back of the drawer. 23 1/2 conversion rail has 1/2 inch portion of plastic connector that would need me to drill a hole in the back of the cabinet after removing old plastic glued connector.
No drilling template was provided. My hands are'nt that steady and a drilling template would be a huge help. Cabinet butts up to another cabinet at right angles. Not sure if plastic extension will be long enough

Not only I had to wait for five (5) days for the order to ship, no it seems that UPS shipped item to the WRONG PLACE...….

I have had 2 drawer slides break in my cabinets. May cabinets are older so I had to order the conversion kits. The old slides uninstalled easily with 1 screw each in the front and just pegs in the back. The new slides installed just as easily. The new style pegs fit the old holes perfectly.
It only took about 20 minutes to remove the back panel of the cabinets (this is an island) and replace both sets of slides then put the back on again.
Even though the brackets are still plastic, the new ones appear to be a bit more sturdy than the original ones.

The product was exactly what was needed to repair the cabinet drawer! Very easy to remove the old and install the new track. Good to know I can get another if I needed it!
